Our match highlights and skills glossaries explain the data that is displayed in all of your match activities. The glossaries are displayed as 'i' inside every match activity.
NOTE: Your training data is explained in separate glossaries, called your highlights glossary and performance glossary. Refer to this article to learn what your training data means.
Skills Glossary
Two-footed: The ability to use both feet for various interactions with the ball. The two-footed skill is related to the below data points.
- Touches: The total number of times your leg came into contact with the ball and % of touches per leg.
- Releases: Total number of times you released the ball (includes passes, crosses & shots). Releases are displayed per foot.
- Receives: Total number of times you received the ball. Receives are displayed per foot.
- Kicking Power: The maximum speed of your foot when making contact with the ball. The speed is displayed per foot.
Dribbling: The ability to move with and manipulate the ball with both feet, at different speeds, and in different directions. The dribbling skill is related to the below data points.
- Distance with the ball: Total distance you covered in possession of the ball.
- Top speed with the ball: Maximum speed you reached in possession of the ball.
- Intense turns with the ball: Total number of times you changed running direction at least 30 degrees whilst in possession of the ball.
First touch: The ability to receive and control the ball with both feet at different speeds. The first touch skill is related to the below data points.

Ball possessions (Receive to release): Total number of times you had control of the ball. This includes the following 3 scenarios.
- Release action
- Sequence of 3 touches
- Covering at least 6.6 yds with the ball
- One touch: Total number of times you received and released the ball in a single action.
- Multiple touch: Total number of ball possessions you had in which you touched the ball more than once.
- Multiple touch duration: Total number of minutes you carried the ball.

Ball release footzone: Total number of ball releases according to the part of the foot that contacted the ball.
- Laces: You connected with the ball with the top (laces) of your foot.
- Inside: You connected with the ball with the inside of your foot.
- Other: You connected with the ball with any other area of your foot.
Agility: The ability to respond to game actions fast through quick turns or changes in pace. The agility skill is related to the below data points.
- Right turns: Total number of times you changed your running direction to the right between 30 and 150 degrees.
- Left turns: Total number of times you changed your running direction to the left between 30 and 150 degrees.
- Back turns: Total number of times you changed your running direction backward, at least 150 degrees.
- Intense turns: Total number of times you changed running direction at least 30 degrees while running faster than 4.4 yd/s.
- Average turn entry speed: The average running speed at which you started to turn.
- Average turn exit speed: The average running speed at which you finished the turn and continued running forward.
Speed: The ability to run fast. The speed skill is related to the below data points.
- Top speed: Maximum speed you reached for at least 1 second.
- Sprints: Total number of times you ran faster than 4.6 yd/s (youth sprint) or 6 yd/s (adult sprint).
Match Highlights Glossary
- Work rate: Total distance you covered during the activity per minute.
